Skye was founded by Nezih Levent, an airline captain with international aviation experience across Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Nezih's aviation journey began in Florida, where he personally experienced the challenges faced by student pilots, flight instructors, aircraft owners, and aviation professionals. In 2012, he founded Pilots of Florida, which has grown into a community of more than 40,000 aviation members.
Through more than a decade of aviation community leadership, Nezih identified a major need in the aviation industry: a safer, more transparent, and more accessible way for pilots, instructors, students, and aircraft owners to connect.
Skye was created to meet that need.
By combining airline experience, aviation community leadership, and modern technology, Skye aims to support the future of flight training, time building, aircraft access, and aviation networking in the United States and beyond.
