This notice explains how SKYE ("SKYE", "we", "us", or "our") shares certain account information with Meta Platforms (Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, including Facebook and Instagram advertising services) for advertising measurement.
1. RECIPIENT
The recipient of the information described in this notice is Meta Platforms.
2. INFORMATION WE SHARE
When this feature is active, SKYE may provide the Meta SDK with the following account details that you have supplied in your profile: city, state, and country. District or neighborhood is not sent to Meta. Location is taken from the settlement information in your profile, not from GPS.
3. PURPOSE
This information is used to match app installs and registrations to our advertising campaigns and to measure campaign performance. It helps us understand whether people who installed or registered after seeing a SKYE advertisement are the same people associated with those campaigns.
4. HOW THE DATA IS TRANSMITTED
The Meta SDK normalizes and hashes this information on the device before transmission. SKYE does not send Meta App Secrets or access tokens to the mobile application for this feature, and this notice does not cover a server-side Meta Conversions API integration.
5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER
Meta may process this hashed information on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States and other countries where Meta operates. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your country.
6. HOW TO TURN THIS OFF
You can manage this feature later in the SKYE mobile app under Profile > Privacy. If the feature is disabled by SKYE, the app will stop sharing this account information with Meta for enhanced matching.
7. OTHER META MEASUREMENT
Standard Meta app events (such as basic install or in-app event reporting configured separately in the Meta SDK) are a distinct measurement activity. This notice covers enhanced matching of the account fields listed above. Declining or acknowledging this notice does not by itself change how those separate standard events are reported, except where SKYE turns the enhanced matching feature off.
8. NOTICE-ONLY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The current version of this feature shows an in-app notice. Tapping Got it records that you have seen this notice. That acknowledgement is not consent and is not stored as a grant of permission. If SKYE later requires a real opt-in, you will be asked to Allow or Don't allow, and a prior acknowledgement will not be treated as permission.
