Is there a fee for students to find CFIs?
No, Skye is completely free for student pilots. You can search for instructors, view their rates and availability, and message them directly without any subscription fees.
How does time building splitting work?
According to FAA regulations, pilots can split the direct operating costs (fuel, oil, airport fees, and rental fees) pro rata. Our platform helps you find partners, but the payment arrangement is handled directly between pilots to ensure compliance.
Can I list my aircraft for rent?
Yes! Aircraft owners and flight schools can list their fleet. We support detailed listings including avionics, hourly rates, and requirements. Visit the 'Aircraft' page and click 'List Your Aircraft' to get started.
