GDPR / EU–UK DATA PROTECTION DISCLOSURE

Supplement to the SKYE Privacy Policy

This disclosure is provided for users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (and similar jurisdictions) who are entitled to enhanced transparency and rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, and related laws. It should be read together with the SKYE Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. CONTROLLER

SKYE acts as a controller for personal data processed in connection with the Platform as described in the Privacy Policy. Contact: info@sky-e.app.

2. PROCESSING PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES

We process personal data to: provide our services and perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); pursue legitimate interests such as securing the Platform, preventing fraud, improving features, and analyzing aggregated usage, unless overridden by your interests or rights (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); and rely on consent where required, such as certain non-essential cookies or marketing where applicable (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. CATEGORIES OF DATA AND RECIPIENTS

We process the categories of data described in the Privacy Policy. Recipients may include hosting providers, communications providers, analytics providers (as configured), payment processors, cybersecurity vendors, and professional advisers, subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we implement appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law.

5. RETENTION

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Criteria include the nature of the data, potential dispute risk, and legal obligations.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase data ("right to be forgotten") in certain cases; restrict processing; receive data in a portable format where technically feasible; object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

7. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

We do not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, unless we notify you separately and obtain any consent or safeguards required by law.

8. TÜRKİYE (KVKK) NOTICE

If you are in Türkiye, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") may provide you with additional rights and obligations regarding the processing of personal data. You may contact us at info@sky-e.app to exercise applicable rights under KVKK, including the right to information, correction, deletion where permitted, objection to processing, and portability to the extent recognized. KVKK-aligned requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
